Raw Yogi Bliss Balls

As a yoga teacher I am always on the go, and it really doesn't feel good to be teaching or practicing on a full tummy so I wanted to share my fave go to energy snack, all natural ingredients, raw, easy to make and ridiculously delish...sometimes I have to ban myself from having them in the house they are that good, I honestly cant be trusted not to polish off the whole batch!

My hot tip for this recipe is to invest in a really good food processor. My good one is currently in storage at the moment and I am absolutely lost without it. In the past I have purchased some cheapies just to tide me over but they always end up smoking up and dying mid bliss ball making which is always devestating.

Also if you’re a nut fiend (like I use to be before I developed a nut allergy, yes I'm that girl now!) you could add your fave nut in there too!

Nut Free Bliss Balls

1 cup (150g) dates, seeds removed

1 cup (150g) dried apricots

1 cup (100g) rolled oats or desicatted coconut

1 tablespoon (20g) huled tahini or coconut cream

2 teaspoons cocoa or cacao

1/4 cup coconut for rolling the balls in (or you could roll in cacao)

Throw all ingredients into your blender, process until it all comes together, shape into balls, roll in coconut and I challenge you not to polish off the whole batch!

Enjoy!
