I realized as I went through my most favorite recipes to share with you guys that none of my faves are savory, which just goes to prove how much of a massive sweet tooth I am. Literally if it was acceptable to have sweet breakfast foods for every meal of the day I would. So if you’re anything like me and constantly looking for a healthy way to get that sweet hit this recipe from Honest To Goodness is for you, its super easy too, and I couldn't think of a better way to beat this Brissy heat wave right now!
1 cup frozen or fresh strawberries
½ frozen banana
½ cup coconut milk
¼-½ cup coconut water (depending on consistency)
1 tsp lucuma
1 tsp maca powder
1 tsp vanilla powder
1 Tbs sprouted rice protein powder
1 Tbs psyllium husks
1Tbs chia seeds
- Place all ingredients in blender, adding enough coconut water to suit your preferred consistency.
- Blend until smooth and creamy.
- Pour into a bowl and top with fresh fruit and granola.
