The Beauty Of Bali

We are so excited to announce that we will be heading back to Bali in 2018 with two beautiful new groups of retreaters, and some old familiar faces too from last retreat who have become like family.

I always get mixed responses when I tell people my favourite place in the world is Bali. Unfortunately, its common for people who haven’t experienced this beautiful part of the world to judge it on bad media coverage they may have seen or negative word of mouth or maybe they’ve been once and only seen the super touristy parts of Bali. And despite tourism increasing over the years since my first visit in 2003 the Balinese culture still remains and there are still plenty of untouched secrets and off the beaten path experiences that will absolutely blow your mind.

The Balinese frequently act out rituals and offerings to keep life in balance and harmony. There is so much we can learn spiritually from these people and after a trip with us to Ubud (the spiritual hub of the island) it’s hard not to notice something change inside of you, that feeling of returning back to who we truly are and remembering what’s important in life.

As I write this it’s been more than 2 months since our last retreat, and there’s a special place in my heart for the island of Bali that wants to draw me back and a need to experience the magic of our retreat experience again (I need to find some way to bottle that magic and take it home to Brissy).

It’s hard to explain exactly what keeps us going back…what keeps Lisa and I working hard to deliver these transformative retreats (in between juggling life, full time jobs, husbands, kids etc). And if I were to put it into words I guess it would be the combination of building our own little community, that passion for making our guests feel completely supported & nourished, but most of all its this magical island of Bali, in particular Ubud, that just allows you the minute you step into that space to crack your heart wide open & truly walk that path of transformation.

So even if Bali hasn’t been on the bucket list for you, we invite you to be open, to let go of your preconceived notions of this island, to trust us that Bali is a place of growth and healing, and to know that we will look after you every step of the way if you decide to join us for our getaway next year.

We look forward to welcoming you to our favorite place in the world with open arms!

X Brodie & Lisa
